Looking back at how far you’ve come
You deserve all the glory
The paths you took, the things you’ve done
It’s been an amazing story
You can feel good, for the fire’s burn
Has fuelled your passion for giving
You can feel proud, for every turn
Has been a triumph of living
It’s not so much how fast or far
You’ve travelled on the way
It’s how you love and who you are
That we celebrate on this day
You can feel strong, for the sun’s rays
Are our defence against defeat
You can feel light, for the stars’ haze
Are our wishes beneath your feet
Looking now at what lies ahead
The journey has more gifts to share
More lessons learned, more skins to shed
More love from those of us who care
